Our blood of the umbilical cord has passed the practical test

The number of applications is increasing

As the option to store the blood of the umbilical cord has existed in Germany for only a coupled of years, all children with a stem cell bank are still very young. 

Within the scope of therapy trials, individual cases and studies with umbilical cord blood stem cells, Vita 34 has played an important role in enabling the treaments of 20 ailing children, including three siblings.
For the first time in Germany, in a joint study the diabetes research group of the Technical University of Munich and Vita 34 are investigating the efficacy of umbilical cord blood stem cells for the treatment of type 1 diabetes.
